The Awards ceremony not only celebrates the results of local government’s improvement and efficiency, it is also the place to learn about the latest and the best in local government transformation. Former Chairman of the Local Government Association, Baroness Margaret Eaton said “The iESE annual Awards ceremony is a fantastic event. It is not only a celebration of real success it is also a great way to ensure those successes are taken up and repeated throughout local government. I am looking forward to the 2012 ceremony”. In 2011 Waverley Borough Council won the award for delivering through efficiency for its programme of major costs savings in the council.
